Collection Note Actions

The Collection Note Actions document is a single Maintenance document which is used to define a list of actions related to the Collections process. The document has only a default view. Actions added to this document will be referenced by the Collection Note document, Collection Note Inquiry, and the Collection Note Assistant.

General

The creation of this document requires the following fields to be defined.

  Field Description
Code Displays the code assigned to the document. The value is system defined and is 1.
Name Displays the name assigned to the document. The value is system defined and is Collection Note Actions.
  Initial Action Enter the action to be used on Collection Note documents that are generated from a Collection Note Request. If this Initial Action is not defined there will not be an action inserted on the collection note generated from the collection note request

Actions

Enter additional Actions needed to support the Collections process by adding rows to the grid below.

  Field Description
Sequence Displays the system generated sequence number representing the order of the creation of action codes.
Code Enter a unique alphanumeric key to identify the action. Once a code has been entered and the document has been submitted to final, it typically cannot be changed.
Name Enter a name to describe the action. The name does not have to be unique.
Comment Enter an optional comment about this action. This could be used to identify potential uses of this action.
Follow-Up Days Enter the standard the number of days in which to follow up for this action. This value will update the Collection Note Follow-Up Date with a calculated date based on the Action Date plus Follow-Up Days.
Status Select the status of the action.
